The Climate Realism Show – LIVE every Friday at 1pm ET

Is COP30 shaping up to be the worst UN climate conference ever? The 30th Conference of the Parties is taking place in the Brazilian jungle – part of which has been cleared and paved to allow private jets and bureaucrats to get to the venue. And after just a few days the whole thing descends into chaos.

A large group of angry indigenous protesters stormed the conference, angry that the agenda left them out. Poor planning and poor infrastructure have resulted in rain seeping through light fixtures, broken air conditioning, and even problems with something as basic as toilet paper disposal.

At least 30 major countries – including the United States – have refused to send official government delegations, probably sensing this impending farce. It’s only been a few days and it’s already looking like the worst COP ever. This requires a lot of work.

In Episode #182 of The Climate Realism Show, we explore what’s really happening at COP30 and what it reveals about the people who want to control every aspect of our lives to “save the planet.”

Heartland Institute’s Jim Lakely, Anthony Watts, Sterling Burnett and Linnea Lueken will also cover some of the week’s crazy climate news.
