We’d like a “Kill -Change” on overseas forces which can be manipulated on our electrical community – watts?

It has been recognized for a long time that the United States' energy infrastructure is not particularly certain, a problem that is tightened by the lack of a central planning process for the ELECTRIC GRID piece. Presidential administrations and congress have only slowly addressed the problem, apparently the mere size and scope of the challenges that would present the necessary upgrades.

That has to change now. The latest news that China apparently installed hidden “Kill Switches” in solar equipment that were sold to the USA was the youngest in a long list of reasons to be concerned about our electricity infrastructure and the rush to replace traditional energy sources with so-called “renewable energies” with the help of technology.

How a source summarized, “this effectively means that there is an integrated path to physically destroy the network”. Or to suspend it even easier, the USA buys chinese devices with a “kill -Switch” that enables China to deactivate the US power network at any time.

If there was ever a wake -up call in relation to the urgent need that the United States is even more obliged to energy -independent energy, it has arrived in the form of China's ability to switch off the US power grid from a distance.

Fortunately, President Trump is working hard to reverse the bidges government's catastrophic mandates that have replaced affordable, reliable and increasingly clean traditional energy sources with non -trusted and costly alternatives. Trump's early explanation of a national energy emergency defined the dangers to rely on foreign energy sources and issued several necessary steps, including the improvement of our energy infrastructure.

However, the additional knowledge of the Chinese underflowing embedded in the US electrical network in crucial components, however, gives the need to not only produce domestic energy, but also to develop more technology in Germany and to produce more of the parts that we currently import from outside of the US boundaries.

While US security experts should be praised for the discovery of the Chinese “Kill -Switches”, how many security threats have become undiscovered? So -called “renewable” technologies such as wind and solar were suspicious in terms of their reliability, as the recent massive grid failure in Spain, Portugal and parts of France showed. We should be all the more suspicious in “alternatives” if the parts with which you are connected to our power grids are obtained from foreign opponents.

The episode again underlines the important need for harder regulations to ensure the energy safety of our nation. Let it drop: China secretly embedded technology in components that were delivered to the USA that could have triggered a massive power failure.

It is time that the congress embeds its own “kill -Switch” about the abroad abroad to deactivate the US power grid. This assurance can only come if we prevent America's energy independence from being a worthy goal for a prescribed reality.
