Scale back solar energy and construct pure gasoline energy crops … As a result of … – watts with it?
Because “I don’t care who you are! It’s funny! ”By David Middleton
Solar energy provides more power than Californians can use from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and very little before 9:00 a.m. and after 4:00 p.m.
Therefore, during the peak time of the day’s solar resources, CAISO must shut down part of the solar power generation. The more solar power you feed into the grid, the more you have to throttle …

California’s restrictions on solar power generation continue to increase
Restrictions on solar-powered power generation have increased in the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) region, the portion of the power grid that covers most of the state. In 2020, CAISO reduced 1.5 million megawatt hours of solar energy in the utility area, or 5% of its solar production in the utility area.
Network operators cut back electricity production from solar and wind generators when supply exceeds demand. In 2020, solar shutdowns accounted for 94% of the total energy lowered in CAISO. Solar restrictions tend to be more severe in the spring months, when electricity needs are relatively low (due to moderate temperatures which reduce heating and cooling needs) and solar power is relatively high. In the early afternoon hours of March 2021, CAISO throttled an average of 15% of its solar power in the supply area.

California opens 5 natural gas power plants to avoid blackouts
by Shelby Bracho, Friday August 20, 2021
California officials say five temporary gas-powered generators will be placed around existing power plants across the state to prevent blackouts and disrupt the state’s electricity grid.
This is a step in the opposite direction of California’s major push toward “green” renewable energy.
“Without additional natural gas, we can’t keep the lights on and the state is forced to go out and find it in an emergency,” said MP Jim Patterson.
Hopefully this means the people here in the Central Valley and across the state will no longer have flex warnings and rolling power outages.

At a current price of $ 171.5 million, each unit will generate approximately 30 MW of power for a total of 150 MW of natural gas.
“Natural gas, you can turn it on when you need it, you can use it any time of the day or night, it’s readily available, it’s relatively affordable, and it burns relatively cleanly,” said MP Patterson. “California forced it to do this because we now have a growing demand for a network that flattens coverage and caused these flex warnings.”
According to PWR, the units can in future be operated with a hydrogen mixture of up to 75%, depending on the availability of hydrogen.
“So we’re going to meet our current needs, and you know, we’ll be able to use hydrogen in future fuel blends as we advance our clean energy goals,” said Ted Craddock, associate director of the State Water Project with the DWR .
“My guess is that this will not be temporary, it will be 150 MW which will be essential and necessary for a long time,” said Rep. Patterson.

Was that a typo?
California officials say five temporary gas-powered generators will be placed around existing power plants across the state to avoid power outages and boos the state network.
Or will the “gas powered generators“literally boo “The state network”?
