As we reported about the ice storm in Texas, there are power outages. There are power outages of $ 9,000 per megawatt hour. I have friends in Texas who report poor conditions because the “green energy” grid is not producing enough electricity. A friend and her husband are trapped in Austin, TX and received this letter from the hotel they are staying at – it’s mind blowing. She says in a Facebook post:
“Our hotel has no more food, electricity or water and gives us glow sticks for light. We’ll be here in freezing temperatures until the weekend. “
In the most energetic state in the nation, they cannot stop light or heat or provide food. The hotel is like the grace of the elements without even a backup generator.
I have other friends who have been without electricity for days. My friend Sterling writes about his buffalo skin coming to the rescue:
Green energy induced rolling Texas style blackouts. Internal temperature 45 degrees. Power supply: 5 to 7 hours off, no more than 1 1/2 hours on. Live under blankets. Thank goodness I hunted a buffalo and had a blanket made of its skin. Had it for 14 years, never had to use it until now.
