Australia is not entirely on Net zero
Environmentalists are in the weapons about the obvious review of the Australian government in the obligations “Net Zero by 2050” and the preliminary goals they have set. Although the government has not officially lifted its obligations, Green Critics of the recent decisions say that their actions speak louder than their words.
For example, an article states in conversation:
The Federal Government's decision to extend the lifespan of the northwest of Woodside in Western Australia was sentenced as a climate catastrophe.
… Science is clear: no projects for fossil fuels can be opened if the world is to avoid catastrophic climate change.
In particular, the government extended the operational lifespan of the Karratha natural gas plant, part of the enormous northwest, until 2070-20 years after the net zero period of 2050 Netto-zerz-Deadline obligation, up to 2070-2050 years. The Karratha expansion is not the only gas project that the government recently has green lights after he has approved six large, heavily capitalized, billion-dollar natural gas projects and has already expanded some projects in operation (including new pipelines and trains to send gas for LNG exports) and some completely new operations.
All projects have operating life over 2050 over 2050. Two of the projects would mean that 450 or 850 new gas production holes are brought online. Overall, the projects would lead to billions of additional tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Most of the gas would be produced for export, but it doesn't matter where the gas is burned when you think the CO2 emissions cause warming. The key does not use it at all, points out.
At the end of 2024, the Australian Labor government was also four new coal mining projects at the end of 2024, which largely worked under the radar, despite publicly committed obligations in 2024 to violate new coal processes.
Australia seems to have a unique way of reaching no zero: significant expansion of the production of fossil fuels. Since the current Labor government took over power in 2022, it has approved the expansion or creation of 10 new coal projects. The worldwide socialist website comments on the great expansion of Australia, writes the global socialist website.
These permits are only the youngest in a number of decisions that completely contradict Labor's alleged commitment to take “more ambitious measures against climate change”. . . .
Together, the production production of these mines could increase 350 million tons of coal. The lifelong climate emissions of the three mines are estimated at approximately the equivalent of 936 million tons (MT) CO2, which is worth annual Australian domestic emissions for over two years.
This brings the number of approvals of the coal semine by the Albanese government since taking office in May 2022 to ten. This includes the previous permits for four completely new coal memines and extensions on three NSW mines in October. In total, the ten permits lead to an estimated equivalence of 2,449 MT CO2 emissions over the course of their lifespan.
It seems that Australia, like many other countries, speaks a good green game and at the same time recognizes the absolutely critical natural of fossil fuels for the creation of jobs and economic growth. According to the repeated forecasts of the international energy agency, you will continue to make up to 80 percent of global energy consumption for decades. Australia obviously wants its action cut. Good for you! It is time for the Australian government to end the green virtue and to follow the leadership of President Trump and to reject Net Zero. That would bring her to the wrong side of her green constituency, but it would bring it to the right side of the story and stop the government to open the requirements of hypocrisy.

Elevanglan seals show a lower antarctic ice expansion in the past
A recently carried out study by the DNA of Adelie -Penguinen in the Ross -Sea and Antarctic has produced some surprising secondary findings about climate conditions about the Holocene.
Elephant seals only breed free of sea ice in the subantarctic southern sea in waters. During the research of the genetic history of Adelie -Penguinen, scientists found the DNA of the elephant seal from an obvious breeding ground on Cape Hallet, more than 2,000 kilometers south of the southernmost viable and active breeding location for the seals for seals.
Based on plenty of elephant seals in Cape Hallet, you bred and apparently thrive there during the Roman and medieval warm periods ago around 2,500 and 1,000 years. Of course, this means that the area was free of sea ice at the time, which it is currently not. Based on the radiocarbon dating of the remains, the researchers write,
The breeding colonies of Southern Elephant Seal are currently limited to islands within the subantarctic region of the southern Pause. However, the discovery of drying from puppy and hair preserved in sediments indicate that the species that used to be recorded by Campbell Glacier in the north to the marble point in the south on the Victoria Land Coast and bred along the Victoria land coast. Radiocarbon dating of elephant seal residues from the Victoria rural coast shows that a reduced extent of the sea ice cream before ~ 2500 and 1000 years of elephant seals breed in these southern spreads and gained a large local population before a local extirpation event began in the south and went north to north. Cape Hallet Sedadna's record provides evidence of another late Holozene breeding colony, the northernmost from the Ross Sea.
This research confirmed the results of a paper published in the magazine Marine Mammal Science in 2019, in which elephant seal in the Antarctic region was also viable for thousands of kilometers south of the colonies due to sea ice conditions.
The extent of the Antarctic Sea ice is greater today than in the past, which is generally claimed in the mainstream media, but examinations show that this is the truth about the climate in Antarctic, which continues to drill climate model projections and writing claims.

The survey shows that the Americans are still skeptical about climate catastrophic requirements
Despite decades of doomsaying about climate change and the catastrophic results, which are supposedly inevitable if people do not quickly set the sin of the use of fossil fuels, it has turned out that the settings of the Americans have not changed much over the past 25 years.
As Fox News and The Daily Caller recently reported, CNN's data boss has recently surprisingly expressed the results of a recently carried out Gallup survey, in which only 40 percent of the Americans are very concerned about climate change. This represents an occasion for concern by six percentage points since 2020 (which in more than 35 years the question of the question of Gallup corresponds to the question of Gallup), which corresponds to the concern expressed 25 years ago. In a CNN segment, Harry ducks, the Senior Data Reporter of the Outlet, said.
Are Americans who are concerned about climate change and the answer is, Americans are afraid of climate change. Climate officers have not successfully carried out the American people. I want you to take a look at it here. “Very concerned about climate change.” We have had data back since 1989 and then look at 39%. In 2000 it was 40%. 2020, 46%. In 2025 there are 40%, which is exactly the same percentage as in 2000, despite all these terrible weather events. The percentage of the Americans, who are very concerned about climate change, has remained quite damn consistent.
With regard to the survey result, the Heartland Institute Research Fellow Linnea Linnea Linne, while Mavens from the mainstream media surprisingly expressed with such survey results, they should not, since the survey of the survey has shown the same over the years: Most Americans believe that the climate is changing for any reason, but they are only worried about them.
And rightly it seems. Lucks and others in climate analism have repeatedly pointed out: “The 21st century is by far the best time to be alive in terms of the survival ability of natural disasters.”
“Over the past 100 years, people around the world have decreased by over 99 percent in the past 100 years,” writes Luken.
In addition, food supply in history is more space than ever, with hunger in the last century, some of which have decreased significantly to higher carbon dioxide levels and better growth conditions. Since 10 times more people die from cold than heat, the deaths have been dramatically liked by not optimal temperatures instead of increasing because the mainstream media would believe because the earth was slightly warmed up.
With all of these good news, facts instead of hype is easy to see why surveys do not seem to be geared in relation to climate change. The real question is why those who are worried about it are worried at all. In my opinion, it is due to the enormous persistent fear of propaganda that promoted opportunists in science, the media and politicians, various environmental NGOs against growth (population and economy) and corporate profits.
