Linda Yaccarino loses briefly verified X Checkmark after the CEO was withdrawn

Ex-X CEO Linda Yaccarino is still @Lindayax on the social media website, but she briefly lost the Blue Checkmark next to her account name.

The X -Help Center notes that the site “can remove the check market of an account at any time without prior notice”.

Yaccarino announced that she would leave the position on Wednesday. The Blue Checkmark, which was awarded for verified, X Premium accounts, was removed from Yaccarino's profile after the announcement of their departure. The Blue Checkmark appeared on Yaccarino's account on Thursday evening.

Yaccarino gave no reason for her departure. X did not immediately answer a request for comments.

Elon Musk, the owner of the X and the parent company Xai, thanked Yaccarino on Wednesday after her announcement.

Techcrunch was the first to report on the lack of Blue Checkmark.

Yaccarino is still active in the app and celebrated the return of Mc Donalds Snack wrap and parts of a monument emoji in response to a contribution to reviewing Jeffrey Epstein Records on a review of the Ministry of Justice.

Yaccarino's departure came a day after Musk's artificial intelligence chat bot Grok received a posting stree with anti -Semitic comments and praise for Adolf Hitler. The contributions have been removed since then and Xai has officially introduced a Grok 4 update.

Musk announced Yaccarino as CEO from X in May 2023, months after the acquisition of so -called Twitter for $ 44 billion.

Yaccarino previously worked at NBCuniversal, the parent company of CNBC.
