John Kerry reiterates his “final hope” declare in regards to the Paris Settlement talks – is that true?

John Kerry has reiterated his claim that the upcoming COP26 talks must produce results. Notably, Kerry also criticized China’s efforts. It will be interesting to see how the public criticism of China plays out in this year’s climate negotiations.

The US has marked its return to the Paris Agreement by calling on countries to do more to address the climate crisis. The American climate commissioner John Kerry warned that international talks this year are the “last, best hope” of avoiding catastrophic global warming.

“This is an important day, a day that never had to happen,” Kerry said to Al Gore, the former US Vice President, in a conversation filmed on the eve of the re-entry. “It is so sad that our previous president decided to pull America out for no scientific basis or legitimate economic reason. It hurt us and the world. “

Kerry said that none of the world’s largest emitters, including China, India and the EU, are doing enough and that major UN climate negotiations later this year in Glasgow, Scotland, are the “last best hope we have” for the Pursue the world to swing to avoid out-of-control climate change.
“The Glasgow meeting is growing in importance,” said Kerry, a former US Secretary of State. “We are at this most critical moment where we have the ability to define the 20s decade that will bring or break us towards zero carbon in 2050.” Kerry said countries “need to really define their roadmap for the next 10 years, the next 30 years. We’re talking about a reality that we haven’t been able to put together in these meetings. “

With his repeated last chance claims, John Kerry put his name on the funny and very long list of last chance to save the world from climate change. The list goes back to the 1980s, so some of the last chance claims were clearly a little exaggerated.
For anyone who claims to be concerned about climate change, John Kerry has undoubtedly made credible efforts to single-handedly bring about climate change under President Obama.
In his final year in office under Obama, John Kerry admitted that in three years he had traveled 1.06 million miles, was flying around, trying to save the world from the carbon monster.
Perhaps someone should introduce Kerry to the concept of conference calls before he personally destroys the planet with its diplomatic excesses.
