German droughts was once far more frequent earlier than 1980! – Watts?

Central Europe has been listening to dry weather since February. The German DWD National Weather Service recently reported in a press release that only 19 liters per square meter (l/m²) in March compared to the approx. 60 liters, which normally fall a month. This made one of the driest last March since the measurements began in 1881.

“The pronounced drought, which had already taken in some regions since the beginning or mid -February, was caused by high -pressure areas that have repeatedly settled through Central Europe or in the area,” reports the DWD.

It is not surprising that the media make alarmistic claims of unprecedented drought, and everyone indicates that they are due to humanity at climate sins.

Dried years before 1980 mostly years

Is drought in rainy Germany something new that we have only experienced how the media and pols suggest?

The historical data show that the answer is clearly no.

Four of the 5 driest years in Germany occurred before 1960. Eight of the top 9 occurred before the people made by humans were ever a problem (before 1980).

And when we look at the long -term rain trend in Germany since the data was recorded, we see that the trend is actually wetter:

But green politicians in Germany have started to demand a “master plan” for water -saving and not surprisingly more restrictions on the use of water.

Dr. At the end of his video, Stefan Homburg summarizes: “I just can't take care of it, ladies and gentlemen. I personally do not understand a final evaluation why we politicians allow real, existing problems to really ignore and instead invent problems that do not exist at all to capture restrictions and conditions.
