David Ismay, the Baker administration’s undersecretary on climate change, valued at $ 130,000 a year, has resigned “immediately” and has made his incendiary remarks.

In his resignation letter, Ismay wrote: “It is very unfortunate that I am effectively immediately submitting my resignation from the position of Under-Secretary of State for Climate Change in the Energy and Environment Executive Bureau.”

The resignation letter is addressed to his boss, the Minister for Energy and Environment, Kathleen Theoharides. He emailed a copy of his personal Hotmail account to the Herald Thursday morning.

The following video shows David Ismay making his controversial remarks to the Vermont Climate Council.

I recommend you click the youtube link to view the original. However, with major tech censorship going on, there is a chance it could go away. Note that this copy of the video has been cropped to only show David Ismay’s face.

What’s the point of a carbon tax or oil and gas drilling restrictions besides breaking the will of businesses and consumers? Perhaps David Ismay is just a little more honest than other climate activists, officials and politicians.

All climate activists that people have to offer are coercion and poverty. If they had anything better to offer, they wouldn’t require carbon fees and taxes, government spending, climate lockdowns, oil pipeline closures, and penalties for violations. People would eagerly adopt green solutions of their own free will.
