The US President Donald Trump contested the Iranian attempts to downplay the strikes to his nuclear facilities on Sunday and emphasized that “extinction” was a precise description, although the full extent of the damage to the nuclear skills of Iran was not immediately clear.

“Monumental damage was caused at all core points in Iran, as shown from satellite images. The obliteration is a precise concept! The white structure shown is deeply embedded in the rocks, although even its roof is significantly below the floor and is completely protected from flames. The greatest damage took place far below. Bullseye !!!” Trump wrote about the social truth.

Damaged or destroyed?

The American chairman of the joint chiefs General Dan Caine said on Sunday that the facilities of Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan “gave serious damage and destruction”, but did not go so far that the nuclear skills of Iran were “extinguished”.

“The last fighting damage will take some time, but initial evaluations for combat damage indicate that all three locations have suffered extremely serious damage and destruction,” said Caine.

In the meantime, the US defense minister Pete Hegseth said on Sunday that “the damage assessment lasted” all of our precision ammunition, where we wanted them to go on strike and have the desired effect “.

When asked whether Iran still keeps nuclear skills, Caine said that “the BDA is still out and that it would be far too early to comment on what may still be there or not.”

Battle Damage assessment (BDA) is a military term that relates to the process of evaluating the effects of military operations.

It usually includes a physical or functional check of the extent of damage that goes beyond visual signs and whether the goal remains operational.

These reviews are usually carried out by intelligence analysts and reconnaissance teams, using data from drones, satellites, radar or soil reports. It helps commanders to decide whether the mission has achieved its goals and whether follow -up examinations are necessary.

The UN Nuclear Watchdog boss Rafael Grossi also cautiously and said that it was not yet possible to assess the damage in the Fordo Nuclear Facility.

Reuters reported on the uncertainty, citing a high -ranking Iranian source that most of the highly sufficient uranium in Fordo had been moved to an unknown location in front of the US strikes at the enrichment office.

The strikes began early Saturday, as six US Air Force B-2-Stealth-Bomber six GBU-57 Massive Ordernance Pensiderator (MOP)-a 30,000 pound bomb, which is known as the “bunker Buster”, fell on the Iranian Fordo Nuclear Facility, which was built into the side of a mountain.

A seventh USB -2 -bomber published two GBU -57 bombs in the Nuclear Facility Natanz, while a U -Boet of the US Marine also started a volleye of 30 Tomahawk rockets, which aims at Natanz and a third location in Isfahan.

The mission, code called Operation Midnight Hammer, comprised more than 125 aircraft.
