The Doge employees who work at the Energy Ministry have no access to US nuclear secrets, said secretary Chris Wright in an interview on Friday.

“I heard these rumors. You see our nuclear secrets. None of this is true at all,” Wright said in an exclusive interview about Brian Sullivan from CNBC. The secretary said three Doge employees work in the Ministry of Energy.

“I know exactly who they are,” said the secretary. “They run through, checked our security and have access to look around, talk to people and give us good feedback on how things are going.”

Wright's comments come after the people who are familiar with the matter have told CNN that a 23-year-old representative of the Department of Government Efficiency from Elon Musk access to the IT system of the energy department about the objections of members of the General Counsel and received the Chief Information Office. The people identified the CNN employee as a former SpaceX intern named Luke Farritor.

The access of the employees from Doge to state systems has triggered the concerns about privacy. Wright said that the employees “have no proprietary information from anyone.”
