Black rock On Monday, CEO Larry Fink said that many managing directors believe that the United States' economy is already in a significant downturn.

“Most CEOs I talk to would say that we are probably in a recession,” Fink said at an event for the New York Economic Club.

“A CEO expressly said that the aerospace industry is a proverbial bird in a coal mining – canaries in the coal semine – and I was told that the canary is already sick,” added Fink.

Management of Asset Management also said that he believes that President Donald Trump's tariff policy exerts pressure on inflation and that it could make it difficult for the Federal Reserve to reduce interest rates, as the central bank often does during the recessions.

“This idea that the Federal Reserve will be relieved four times this year, I see no chance of it. I am much more concerned that we could increase inflation that increases interest rates much higher than today,” said Fink.

The pricing in the Fed -Futs -Futs market currently indicates that the dealers expect the central bank to reduce its benchmark interest by at least 1 percentage point by the end of the year.

Blackrock as a company held more than 11 trillion dollars of assets by the end of 2024 and was distributed to public and private investments.

Fink's comments were broadcast on Bloomberg Television.
