Nvidia announced on Tuesday that it hopes to resume the turnover of his H20 processing units to customers in China. The US government assured that the company would be granted licenses.

The sales of the H20 chips by NVIDIA, which were specifically stayed from the export controls on China, were stopped in April.

“The US government has assured Nvidia that licenses will be given and Nvidia hopes to start deliveries soon,” said the company in an explanation.

Against the background of a preliminary trade agreement between Washington and Beijing, this happens last month, in which China was looking for exports for the rare earth and the USA to relax Tech's export controls.

Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, has strengthened his lobbying against export controls in the past few months and argues that they have inhibited the American tech leadership. In May Huang said that Chip restrictions have almost halved the Nvidia market share.

Huang also terminated a new “fully compliant” GPU, Nvidia RTX Pro, and said it was ideal for intelligent factories and logistics.

The possible change in US farming follows a meeting between Huang and US President Donald Trump last week.

In his meeting with Trump and the US political decision -makers, Huang had the support of NVIDIA for creating jobs and the government's onshoring efforts and the goal of America, the company said.

In the meantime it was confirmed in Beijing that Huang met with government and industry officials to discuss the advantages of AI and the opportunities for researchers to secure AI for the benefit of everyone.
