A humble BBC docudrama proposal
Re: University of East Anglia “Climategate” scandal to be filmed
Dear BBC,
Instead of disbanding the creative team that embarked on the intimidating project, revealing that leading climate researchers were manipulating and withholding data, hiding evidence that violated FoIA laws to illegally circumvent legitimate requests for data necessary to replicate scientific studies, and skeptics have blackballed to whitewash the CAGW fear, I may suggest that you do “The Trick” first in a row. For the next one, you can tackle the second worst science scandal in recent history: Piltdown man (click to enlarge):
Put a mustache on Jason Watkins and he’s a dead wrestler and, of course, to play the “brilliant amateur archaeologist” Charles Dawson, who spliced bone fragments from different skeletons to create the illusion of the “missing limb” (click to enlarge) :
It shouldn’t be much of an effort for Mr. Watkins after playing the brilliant UEA CRU climate scientist Phil Jones, who spliced fragments from various graphics to create the illusion of the “hockey stick” temperature graph (click to enlarge).
