President Donald Trump will deliver a live address to the nation from the White House on Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET.
The speech comes as multiple polls show his approval ratings falling across the board, including on the economy and other issues. Trump is expected to tout the successes of his first 11 months in office and justify his administration’s actions against Venezuela.
“It’s been a great year for our country and the best is yet to come!” The president published a post on Truth Social on Tuesday announcing the address.
“I look forward to ‘seeing’ you then,” Trump wrote.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters on Tuesday that Trump would also discuss his plans to “continue delivering for the American people over the next three years.”
