The Bureau of Labor Statistics said Wednesday that it will not release a full U.S. jobs report for the month of October following the longest government shutdown in the country’s history.

Instead, the agency said October payroll data will be released along with a full report for November. An unemployment rate for October is not included in these figures because the data “could not be collected,” the BLS said, citing the shutdown.

The agency also postponed the release of its November labor market data from December 5 to December 16. The new date comes six days after the conclusion of the Federal Reserve’s last policy meeting this year, giving the central bank less information about the state of the economy. The delayed September nonfarm payrolls report is due to be released on Thursday.

Without full October data – and after recent hawkish comments from some Fed officials – traders could be pricing in a reduced chance of another rate cut.

CME Group’s FedWatch tool showed as of midday Wednesday that there is a 63.8% chance the Fed will keep its key interest rate stable in the 3.75% to 4% range overnight. That’s up from around 50% earlier in the day.
