Former finance minister Janet Yellen will join an advisory board for the Bond Giant Pimco, CNBC found out.

Yellen, who also worked as the chair of the Federal Reserve, under the report of the CNBC leslie Pickers on the board, which meets several times a year.

According to the PIMCO website, the mission of the advisory board members is “their insights into the company through global economic, political and strategic developments and their relevance for the financial markets”.

Current members include Gordon Brown, the former British Prime Minister; former chief of staff Joshua Bolten; Michèle Flournoy, former defense policy consultant among two US presidents; and Raghuram Rajan, an economist and former governor of the Reserve Bank of India.

In addition, the former chairman of the Federal Reserve, Ben Bernanke, was Senior Advisor at Pimco, and Richard Clarida, who worked as the deputy chairman of the central bank, is the managing director of the company's New York office.

Yellen served as the Ministry of Finance for every four years of the bidet administration, and before this was fed from 2014 to 18 to 18.08.
